PreK/K Bilingual Summer School Office Assistant/TA:

Summer School Schedule:  6/04/2020 - 06/26/2020 M-F  Teacher Workday June 2-3

7:30 AM- 3:15PM

FOCUS:  This summer session is mandated by TEA.  Bilingual Preferred.  This position will provide office assistance, and other classroom assistance as needed.  Reports to Summer School Administrator.

 NUMBER OF DAYS: 18 days (M-F,  18 Instructional days).

RATE OF PAY:  15 per hour        

LOCATION:  Bonham Elementary

The number of employees hired for summer school is entirely dependent upon student enrollment.  There are no paid sick or vacation days. There are a limited number of summer school substitutes in the event of an emergency. Summer School staff will be responsible for securing their own substitutes from the approved summer school substitute list.  State and Federal mandated deductions will be taken for income tax and teacher retirement.

Summer School employees must make private arrangements for childcare and may not bring their children to school as a childcare alternative.

School district employees may be required to work from home and use their personal electronic devices.
